Former EastEnders star Matt di Angelo has announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Sophia Perry after five years together.
The overjoyed actor revealed the happy news on his Instagram with a series of pictures of his elaborate beach proposal.
He had popped the question to wedding planner Sophia in front of the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Dominican Republic, where they've been celebrating his 32nd birthday.
He asked his love to marry him over pizza and champagne, bringing out a white jewellery box containing a beautiful baguette cut diamond set in a simple platinum band.
"Got pizza today," Matt captioned his Insta post, adding a ring emoji to alert his fans.
Sophia announced the news in a separate post, sharing a snap of herself eating the ham and cheese pizza while holding up a glass of bubbly.
"I HEART PIZZA... AND MY FIANCÉ @mattdiangelo ," she wrote, with the sun catching on her enormous diamond ring.
Matt's EastEnders co-star Rita Simons was among the first to congratulate him, telling him: "Mazeltov!!! Finally! You’re gonna be a real grown up!!!"
Hollyoaks star James Sutton also wrote: "MAAAAAATE!!! HUGE congrats to you both. Wonderful news x."
Sophia will now have plenty on her hands planning their upcoming wedding as well as juggling her clients' nuptials.
But Matt could still pull out a dance move or two at their wedding thanks to his previous stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2007.
During the show, Matt found love with his professional dance partner Flavia Cacace, but split from her three years later.
