Soap viewers were be pleased to know EastEnders and Coronation Street will no longer clash tonight.
The BBC have made the decision to move EastEnders from its usual Friday slot at 8pm, to half an hour later at 8:30pm.
It came after an ITV schedule shake-up saw Coronation Street ’s two Friday episodes combined into one hour-long instalment.
As a result, it wasn’t due to finish until 8:30pm, meaning a clash with BBC rival EastEnders.

Viewers were not exactly impressed with the idea, already seeing a clash for the soap on Tuesday.
The BBC soap aired the same time as Emmerdale, also on ITV, after it was extended by 30 minutes.
With international football coverage airing live on the channel on Monday, Emmerdale’s episode due to air this day was moved to Tuesday.
But to avoid yet another clash, BBC have shaken things up and moved the latest edition of the Walford-based soap to a later slot.
It comes amid drama for teen Tiffany Butcher, following her grooming hell.
She and pal Evie Steele have been left in danger, after Evie’s drug dealer boyfriend threatened their lives.
The girls had been selling drugs for him, but failed to meet demand, with Evie receiving nasty threats.
Tiffany returned to Walford to find the money to pay him off, but failed to do so leading to Evie being beaten up.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays on 7:30pm on BBC One.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
