EastEnders' Luisa Bradshaw-White seems to quash Tina Carter return fan theories

Luisa Bradshaw-White seems to have quashed fan theories for her character Tina Carter to make an EastEnders return.

The London-born actress, 46, departed the BBC One soap opera late last year in dramatic final scenes.

However, Enders fans have been theorising that Tina was not actually killed by evil lawyer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith), as we neither saw him kill her or finally dispose of her body.

Now, Luisa has posted a happy selfie on Instagram in a t-shirt that reads: "Peace, love and sacred cacao".

Alongside her beaming face, Luisa had a career update for her fans.

She teased her followers: "Worked with a complete icon today! Bum cheeks firmly clenched!

"Def needing the tequila tonight!  @aquarivatequila

"Love my new life. [smiley face emoji]".

The actress then appeared to quash fan suggestions that her character Tina Carter will make a return to the BBC One soap opera and is not actually dead.

Tina Carter's final EastEnders scenes aired in December but some fans are convinced she will return (BBC)

She wrote: "Oh and those people banging on about me going back to EastEnders sorry guys wrong channel."

Luisa then signed off: "Ps my epic tshirt is from  @seasoulandsnow  I will be wearing this and nothing else for the rest of lockdown... cos I will..."

So, that appears to put an end to speculation of a return, but we are sure fans will continue to come up with their theories.

Recent episodes have seen Gray continue to try and convince Tina's sister Shirley ( Linda Henry ) that Tina is on-the-run after police wrongly charged her with attacking Ian Beale ( Adam Woodyatt ),

The real culprit, of course, was Phil Mitchell ( Steve McFadden ) who had been conspiring with vengeful ex-wife Sharon Watts ( Letitia Dean ) against Ian.

EastEnders is due for some other cast changes in the coming weeks.

Jake Wood is set to depart EastEnders as Max Branning this week (BBC/Kieron McCarron/Jack Barnes)

On Friday, Max Branning ( Jake Wood ) will depart Albert Square for good after nearly 15 years on our screens.

Elsewhere, actress Lacey Turner is due to take maternity leave soon and her character Stacey Slater will temporarily depart our screens once more.

Meanwhile, Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) and Mo Harris ( Laila Morse ) shall also depart the soap later this year.

Maddy Hill is due to return as Tina's great-niece Nancy Carter later this year (BBC)

However, it is not all sad news for fans as Tina's great-niece Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) is due to return to the soap after five years away in New Zealand.

Finally, new arrivals are on the way in the form of the mysterious hunk Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Sonia Fowler's long-lost father, Terry Cant, played by legendary comedian Brian Conley.

*EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
