EastEnders' Louise Mitchell turns killer as she helps Martin Fowler murder Keanu

EastEnders fans were left reeling as Louise Mitchell took her own revenge against cheating fiancé and baby daddy Keanu Taylor.

Keanu was shot dead by Martin Fowler in graphic scenes, following the truth about his affair with Sharon Mitchell being revealed.

Sharon and Keanu had an affair last year and slept together again just months ago, with her falling pregnant.

Phil Mitchell learned on Christmas Eve that Keanu was the mystery man of wife Sharon, with him also finding out Keanu was the father of Sharon's baby.

All hell broke loose on Christmas Day, as Ben Mitchell plotted revenge and blackmailed Martin into killing him.

But there was an even bigger twist that rocked viewers - and no one saw it coming.

Louise finally rumbled Keanu's fling, and confronted him at the dinner table.

She began screaming at him, hysterical, as a teary Keanu begged for her forgiveness.

Keanu soon realised he had to leave as Phil would kill him, and he asked Louise to run away with him.

Louise realised she loved him and vowed to run away with him and baby Peggy, packing their things together before making their exit.

They headed to The Arches to find a car to get away in, before finding an open van.

But as they got into the van with baby Peggy, it became very clear Louise was setting him up, with her face changing to an evil glare.

She issued a chilling confession, telling him: "You were right, my dad will kill you."

Keanu suddenly looked worried if not terrified, before she smirked and added: "Never ever take a Mitchell for a fool."

It's then that Martin grabbed Keanu through the window, knocking him out as he placed his hands over his mouth causing him to inhale a sedative.

Louise cradled baby Peggy as she watched on unnerved, before walking away and leaving Martin to it - leaving Keanu to die.

As she headed to the pub to join brother Ben and dad Phil it appeared as though she and Ben had planned the set-up together - both trying to cover their tracks.

Viewers were gobsmacked over the twist, not expecting Louise to become a villain.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
