EastEnders star Louisa Lytton revealed she has suggested a heartbreaking storyline for her character Ruby Allen.
She said she wanted to tackle a "taboo" subject on the soap, and suggested Ruby may have a miscarriage.
Ruby is currently having an affair with Max Branning since she returned to the soap after 12 years away.
Louisa was speaking former Skins star April Pearson on Instagram, when she was asked what her dream storyline on EastEnders would be.

"Interesting, I literally was saying this at work today," she replied.
"I think because I have done a storyline that opened her up to women feeling like she's part of the sisterhood," she said.
"I was saying at work it would be really nice to follow on with that, because I feel like she's a character women can relate to.

"So I would like to do something maybe surrounding... I don't know if I should be saying this... it's not set in stone, this is my idea, but surrounding maybe miscarriage.
"Or another taboo topic that we can normalise, because I think it works."
Ruby was daughter of the late villainous Johnny Allen, and viewers soon learnt about her troubled past and watched her get caught in the crossfire between Johnny and Phil Mitchell’s feud.
Following her father’s death, Ruby found comfort in Sean Slater but soon realised the feeling wasn’t mutual and distraught, she fled Walford in 2006.
Louisa is engaged to beau Ben Bhanvra, though they may be forced to cancel their wedding next year due to the pandemic.
When asked about it on Instagram, she said: "Yeah, I mean, please please please, let it be.
"It's not for a little while so I think we're going to be all right. Scary times."
