EastEnders’ Louisa Lytton finally getting married this weekend in Italy after two years

Louisa Lytton is finally getting married to fiancé Ben Bhanvra in Italy this weekend after two years of delays.

Former EastEnders ' star Louisa had to cancel her wedding three times over the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, due to restrictions preventing travel and guest numbers.

The couple then contracted Covid themselves just last week, which pushed the nuptials back even further.

However, they have now managed to travel over to Italy with their daughter Aura to celebrate their big day.

Louisa, 33, has been keeping her fans up to date with the wedding plans, including sharing photos of herself finally in Italy on her Instagram profile.

She posted two photos, one of herself in a field wearing a skirt and a strappy top enjoying the sun, while next photo was of Louisa holding her nine-month-old daughter as she pointed to the camera ahead of their special day.

Alongside the post, Louisa said: "Two years in the making. . Let’s finally go get married @bennnyy__ here’s to ever covid bride finally getting down that aisle #MrsB".

Just last week the mum-of-one posted a photo from her hen do explaining they had become a 'Covid household ' so they had to stay at home.

She captioned it: "This time last week. Since we have had a Covid household. Finally on the mend. Not what the doctor ordered.

"We were supposed to be exchanging our vows today before our Italian Wedding! Instead, we cleaned the carpets covered in sick. We will get there and it will be worth it."

The star explained that despite plans to get married in Italy, they exchanged their vows in England beforehand.

Louisa then followed up on her original post over on her Instagram Stories, telling her followers that things sounded 'more dramatic' than they actually were.

She said: "That sounded more dramatic than it is. We are getting married in Italy but had to do our vows here [England]. Just to top off a week of covid and another postponed 'wedding' Riley decided to wee on my washing."

The actress, who played Ruby Allen in EastEnders, had her first child last year after enduring a 'scary' three-day labour before finally giving birth to her daughter on 30 August.

The original plan for Louisa was to have a water birth using hypnobirthing techniques, but this didn't quite go to plan.

She was in labour at home for 14 hours before going in to Barnet hospital, where she had to have her waters broken.

Aura then eventually arrived on 30 August, weighing 6lbs 5oz.

Louisa and Ben Bhanvra got engaged back in 2019 but decided to scale back their original wedding plans when their little one arrived.

They decided for their big day to not be as 'wild' as they had originally planned due to now having a family of their own.
