EastEnders' Lorraine Stanley falls into her taxi after partying hard at Inside Soap Awards

EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley showed the newbies how it's done when she left the Inside Soap Awards in style - by falling into the back of her cab.

The 43-year-old actress, who plays Karen Taylor in the BBC soap, joined co-stars at the prestigious ceremony last night in London's Sway Bar and definitely let her hair down.

A well-refreshed Lorraine was spotted leaving the venue clutching her gong after receiving the award for Funniest Female.

She laughed and joked with other guests before crouching in the back in the back of her private car and appearing to fall backwards onto the seat, clearly enjoying every minute.

The star kicked out her leg in glee and raised up her trophy in celebration of her win.

She wore a gold and navy sequinned mini-dress, which she paired with black tights and matching ankle boots for the big night.

Taking to Instagram later that evening, she wrote: "Thank you to @insidesoapmagazine I love you guys and you have the best awards night, and thankyou to all of you beautiful people that took time to vote!!! I am officially funny, love ya!!!"

She wasn't the only winner of the night - 'Enders co-star Danny Dyer picked up the award for Funniest Male, while showbiz stalwart Maureen Lipman managed to win Best Newcomer for her role as Evelyn Plummer in Coronation Street .
