EastEnders aired suggestive scenes on Tuesday night, as Peter Beale and Lola Pearce appeared to grow closer.
The former couple slept together recently, despite Lola dating Jay Brown.
Peter has been teasing her that he's going to spill the beans about the romance to his pal Jay.
But on Tuesday, a heart-to-heart led to him deciding to stay quiet for Lola, not wanting to ruin their relationship.
He opened up about it being six years since the death of his twin sister Lucy Beale.
She'd been murdered by accident by their younger brother Bobby, and it all got too much for him as the family tried to rally around him in the latest episode.
Peter told Lola how he couldn't simply remember the good times, as life without her left him lonely and feeling like there was a "black hole".
Lola supported him, as she reminisced on the old days with Lucy - with the pair dating at the time of his sister's death.
They ended up going for a drink in The Queen Vic to toast to the late character.
It's then that Lola begged him to stay quiet, and promised to keep the fling between her and him only.
Peter decided she was right, and agreed he wouldn't tell Jay what they had done.
But unbeknown to them, Ben Mitchell was watching them as they held each other's hands at the table.
The character was drowning his sorrows after his operation was rescheduled due to him being unwell, with dad Phil also rejecting his help on their big job with Danny.
Ben lost his hearing earlier this year, and was hoping the operation would make him hear again - only for it to be cancelled.
As he got drunk in the pub, he suddenly spotted his nephew Peter cosying up to pal Lola, the mother of his daughter Lexi, and was wondering what was going on.
Knowing Ben, he isn't likely to let it go and will want to know exactly what they were discussing - but will he find out the truth and tell best friend Jay?
