Linda Carter is set to suffer an upsetting relapse next week as she gives into her yearning for alcohol.
EastEnders fans will recall Linda, played by Kellie Bright, falling into a downward spiral during New Year's Eve, which almost led to her death during the 35th anniversary boat disaster in February.
The Carters later chose to sell the Queen Vic so that Linda wouldn't be tempted by alcohol after going teetotal.
But Linda is forced to face her demons again when she helps out at The Prince Albert.
Mick is working behind the bar for Frankie's Drag Bingo night while Max, Linda and Sharon all get together.
Yet Mick is worried about Linda being around alcohol again so makes her a mocktail.
This doesn't go down well with Linda, who is frustrated with Mick always looking over her shoulder.
With those frustrations plaguing her mind, she gives into temptation and sips at an alcoholic drink... but she is caught by Max.
Upset with herself, Linda speaks to Max about how she has been struggling. Will he tell Mick about Linda's drinking?
And is this the beginning of another bad spell for Linda?
