EastEnders legend Beppe back at hair transplant clinic to correct botched procedure

Former EastEnders star Michael Greco is on a journey to a better head of hair.

The actor is best known for playing Beppe di Marco from 1998 to 2002 on the BBC soap and since his soap days he has seen his hair thin - which left him feeling insecure.

He decided to undergo a hair transplant but the 51-year-old was left disheartened with poor results due to a botched procedure but now he has started the process of fixing the mishandled surgery by starting treatment at a new clinic.

The Scottish star recently underwent corrective hair transplant surgery at the British Hair Clinic and boasted about the results he can already see via the clinic's social media page.

In the footage, Michael - who is expecting his first child with partner Helen Harris - explained that he first noticed his hair falling out when he was a teenager and shared how as he got older.

He said: "Some people can shrug it off and shave it and don’t care don’t mess but most men especially those who are younger think if I can get my hair back with all this amazing treatment that they have these days why not!"

After the procedure, Michael then told the camera: "The operation went well, really happy with it!

"So much better than the botched one I had before!"

Sharing how he cannot wait for the final result and to welcome his new tot, he added: "Lots to look forward to in the summer with a new baby and new head of hair! Life is good"

At the start of the month, Michael announced that he was preparing to become a dad for the first time at 51.

He appeared on Loose Women and told hosts Janet Street-Porter, Brenda Edwards, Kaye Adams and Denise Welch he was over the moon.

"I was overwhelmed when my partner told me, I just burst into tears, I didn't think I would but I did," he said.

It's funny being a dad in my 50s now, because there are no rules in life, some people have kids when they are younger and some at an older age.

"But what I do know is I am still fit and strong," he said.

Ahead of the gender reveal, Michael explained: "I’m a traditionalist about colour, I know some people aren’t, I’m Italian, I’m old fashioned, I’m a traditionalist," before holding up a pair of blue socks.
