EastEnders leaked clip confirms Phil Mitchell violently murders Jack Branning?

EastEnders actor Scott Maslen's recent Instagram video appearing to leak violent scenes ahead, might now make a little more sense.

Scott, who plays Jack Branning, uploaded a video of him in make-up sporting a number of cuts and bruises, and a super bloody face.

He hinted danger ahead for Jack before swiftly deleting the video, with the scenes filmed back in September.

No attack on Jack has aired since, yet new Christmas spoilers for the BBC soap suggest he could be shockingly killed off in a new plot.

Phil Mitchell takes revenge on an innocent Jack, after finally rumbling the baby his pregnant wife Sharon is carrying isn't his.

After seeing the former lovers talking, Phil wrongly believes they've had an affair and that Jack is the father.

He remains in the dark that it's in fact so-in-law Keanu Taylor who is the unborn baby's dad.

In scenes to air in the days before Christmas, Phil grabs a gun before heading to finish Jack.

The police detective faces a race against time to convince Phil he's got the wrong guy.

Tensions reach breaking point at The Arches as Jack is left in terrible danger - but will he die?

It could now be the case that the bloody pictures the actor accidentally leaked are from these scenes yet to air, hinting serious danger for Jack.

With Phil on the warpath, does he brutally beat up Jack hence the gory make-up?

He doesn't look to be in great shape judging by the backstage clip, since deleted, so if Phil is behind the attack he clearly doesn't hold back.

EastEnders fans think the scenes are linked to Phil Mitchell (BBC/Guy Levy)

Viewers think the new spoilers will be paired up with the bloodied images too, but they'll have to stay tuned to see if Jack survives.

One fan commented on Twitter : "Phil is gonna think Jack is the father of Sharon’s baby, isn’t he? This may be why Scott Maslen had a bloody face in this behind the scenes video from a few months ago."

Another feared: "Phil thinks it's Jack. RIP Jack."

A third queried: "So Ben may order jack beaten up or even try talking to him. But Phil shoots him?"

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
