EastEnders' Lacey Turner showcases DIY skills gives bedroom stylish makeover

EastEnders star Lacey Turner shared the stunning results of her stylish bedroom makeover.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram to share a compilation clip of the flooring process in the master bedroom of her home in North London.

Tagging the companies that helped make her dream room, Lacey captioned her post: “Flooring @v4woodflooring Bed @the_bedroom_centre Throw & cushions @ dusk Bedside tables @sprayedhertfordshire Paint @farrowandball moles breath @kandg_construction.”

She first filmed a boomerang of the empty room as the floors were getting put in.

The soap star then showed the completed room, which had a white fur rug, a large bed with a grey button bed frame, and a dark grey bedside table.

She also added a white lamp to add some light in front of the walls, which are now dark grey.

Back in September, Lacey explained to OK! how she adapted her home for daughter Dusty, 18-months.

She said: "We’ve turned our dressing room, which was attached to our bedroom, into a nursery for the baby and Matt’s given up his man cave, which had blue walls and a bar in it."

The refurbishment of her bedroom comes after she welcomed her second child with her husband Matt Kay.

The couple confirmed they had a baby boy in early February and she opened up about his dramatic premature birth.

Lacey told Sunday Mirror's Notebook that after he was born a week premature he was rushed off by doctors to a specialist unit, meaning that she had to prioritise getting him fed rather than worrying about how.

She then revealed she was hesitant about breastfeeding baby Trilby was born as she found it difficult with their first child Dusty.

Lacey said: "I was 50/50 about doing it. I found it really difficult last time and Dusty found it stressful but I kept an open mind.

"But then when he had to be in special care, I thought, 'Instead of trying my hardest to pump and get everything going, let’s just keep it as easy as possible for everybody and keep him fed.'

"He has his last feed at 11pm and then he wakes up around 3am, and then he’s not up again until 7am!"
