EastEnders killer Lucas leaves bloody trail as he disappears with Denise's body

EastEnders' serial killer Lucas Johnson will go back to his dark ways as he finally snaps - and leaves a bloody trail behind him.

Sadly, it seems as though Denise will bear the brunt of his fury as her family are left horrified when she disappears...

Next week on the BBC soap, Lucas' daughter Chelsea leaves Denise and Patrick suspicious when she mentions her holiday.

Neither know that Chelsea is actually plotting against her dad and appears to have a revenge plant in mind.

Meanwhile, Lucas probes Chelsea about their trip before later persuading her to visit the church with him.

Yet, things end up taking a turn when her phone rings and Chelsea's plan begins to crumble as Lucas refuses to go away.

Later, Denise finally realises that Chelsea is going away with Lucas and storms over to his place to accuse him of manipulating Chelsea.

Her tirade prompts Lucas to realise that Denise has no idea that the trip is all Chelsea's idea and reminds Denise that he can't leave the country.

However, Chelsea steps in and assures him that she has the paperwork sorted. When Lucas suggests she takes Denise on the trip instead, she refuses and Denise is left heartbroken.

On Thursday, Lucas refuses to leave as Chelsea waits in the taxi and Denise overhears the commotion.

Assuming that Lucas has let down their daughter again, Denise furiously confronts him and - while he tries to explain - she rails at him.

Lucas ends up snapping...

Vinny later interrupts Chelsea and Jack, who are looking for Denise, and says he thinks something happened at the flat as he saw blood.

They rush over to the flat and find it in a state, while Denise is nowhere to be found.

The next day, Jack frantically searches for Denise and quickly turns his anger on Chelsea after she brought Lucas back to Walford.

Will they be able to find Denise alive? Where has Lucas taken her?
