EastEnders fans were horrified on Monday night as violent scenes saw Callum Highway's kidnap plot kick off.
It was reported last month that the character, who is one half of much-loved Walford couple Ballum, would be kidnapped as "dead" Keanu Taylor took revenge on Ben Mitchell.
Ben had ordered Martin Fowler to kill Keanu over the reveal he'd had an affair with his stepmother Sharon Mitchell - but Martin allowed him to flee instead.
Now he's back, and he wants to make Ben pay for his near death.
He's targeted Callum, Ben's boyfriend, knowing how much he cares about him.
At the end of Monday's episode, an unsuspecting Callum had no idea he was being followed, before Keanu made his move.
Arriving at the flat, Callum let him in thinking it was Ben, and it wasn't long until things escalated.
Callum looked stunned, believing he was dead, before telling him: "You're alive... mate, that's amazing."
But Keanu had no time for a catch-up, telling him he was sorry before giving him a heavy punch to the face.
Callum fell to the ground, and the silence appeared to confirm he was knocked out.
Later on in the episode Callum was not shown again, but Keanu was seen holding his tie as he waited for Ben at the flat.
As Ben entered his face dropped, with Keanu confirming his true fate after the deadly Christmas Day episode.
It soon dawned on Ben that it was Callum's tie in his hand, and he could be in serious danger.
Keanu dropped a chilling threat, telling him if he wanted Callum to return alive he had to do exactly as he asked.
But what has he done with Callum, and can Ben save him before it's too late?
The coming weeks on the BBC soap will be full of drama and tragedy, so fans will have to tune in to find out what happens.
