EastEnders star Jessie Wallace was snapped for the first time since on-set drama reportedly saw her suspended from the soap.
The 48 year old was said to have been written out of the show for two months, and was reportedly warned by producers that she should clean up her act or face being permanently removed.
The Kat Slater actress, first appearing in Albert Square twenty years ago, is a fan favourite of the show and many have been eagerly awaiting her return.
Now the actress has seen looking fresh-faced and healthy as she made stop to pick up some supplies in north London.
She cut a stylish, sporty figure in an all-black ensemble, her signature raven locks tied back.
A friend of Jessie explained her situation to The Sun after the reports of her suspension first emerged.
They said: "She knows one more strike and she could be out. Something needs to change.
"It's a well-known saying within EastEnders that nobody is bigger than the soap."
Another source told the publication that Jessie had been "clearly tipsy" during filming on a boat for the soap's 35th anniversary episode.
They claimed: "Jessie was clearly tipsy and got very verbal. She made an a**e out of herself - it was quite sad to see.
"She's been given two months to sort herself...everyone is hoping this is just a blip."
Kat is regarded as one of Walford's most legendary characters, among the ranks of Peggy and Phil Mitchell, Dot Branning and Mick Carter.
She's been in and out of the soap since her introduction back in 2000, and her two decades have seen fiery rows, breakdowns and turbulent relationships.
Her marriage to Alfie Moon, brought to life by Shane Richie, was especially stormy.
The pair upped sticks to Spain in 2017, after their spin-off show, Kat and Alfie: Redwater.
When they were abroad, Alfie ended up sleeping with Kat's cousin Hayley - who became pregnant with his child.
