EastEnders' Jay drops huge news on Ben as Phil Mitchell makes dramatic return

EastEnders airs big scenes in just over a week's time, as Dennis Rickman's funeral arrives.

The teen drowned after the recent boat crash, caused during Phil Mitchell and Keanu Taylor's violent showdown.

Phil and Keanu both did a runner in the fallout to Sharon Mitchell's son's tragic death.

In upcoming scenes, Sharon is struggling to cope as the day arrives and she prepares to say a final goodbye to her son.

As the teenager is laid to rest, a surprise visitor threatens to ruin everything.

He's set for a showdown with Sharon as the former husband and wife come face-to-face for the first time since Denny's death.

This isn't the only discovery airing that week for the family, with Phil's son Ben making a realisation of his own.

According to the BBC synopsis for the episode on Thursday March 26, he's taken aback by some news.

His best friend Jay Brown drops some big news on him, leaving him stunned.

Viewers will have to tune in to find out what he says, with details not yet revealed.

Phil is yet to find out his son has suffered major hearing loss, after he was injured in the boat crash.

After fighting Keanu, Ben went overboard and hit his head on the side of the boat and the injury caused him to suffer almost complete hearing loss.

How will Phil react to the news, and will he be there for his son?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
