EastEnders' Jack and Chelsea's dating history explained - secret pregnancy to break-up

Jack Branning and Denise Fox might be an item now, but once upon a time the copper used to date her daughter Chelsea.

Chelsea, now played by Zaraah Abrahams, recently returned to Albert Square after appearing to reunite with killer dad Lucas.

Chelsea Fox was previously in a relationship with Jack Branning (BBC/Jack Barnes)

But things quickly became difficult for the couple when Jack was shot in nightclub R&R during niece Lauren's birthday.

After he was rushed to hospital, Jack was put into a medically induced coma before undergoing a serious operation.

Afterwards, Jack was brought out of the coma and discovered that he was paralysed down the left side of his body.

Realising his feelings for on-off lover Ronnie, Jack decided to break up with Chelsea. However, she later suspected that she could be pregnant with his child and wanted to keep the baby.
