EastEnders airs dramatic scenes next week, as Dotty Cotton continues to threaten Ian Beale with his killer secret.
Dotty knows Ian played a part in Dennis Rickman's demise, unintentionally, during the boat crash last month.
She found an incriminating voicemail message that confirmed Ian, who was looking for Dennis on the boat to confront him about his bullying towards his son Bobby, had locked him in a room on the lower deck.
As the boat crashed and began to fill with water, Dennis begged for his life and Ian considered leaving him.
He did return and managed to free him, only for them to be taken out by a wave and teenager Denny drowned.
Ian has been struggling with his secret, but determined it stays unknown.
Dotty has been blackmailing him, but next week he takes steps to ensure he's the one with the upper hand.
While she's been blackmailing him to do things for her, with his secret under threat, he's been letting her get away with it.
Next week on the BBC soap, Dotty's up to her old tricks as Dennis' funeral arrives.
Ian is doing his best to avoid her, while remaining guilty as the time comes for pal Sharon Mitchell to say a final goodbye to her tragic son.
But the tables soon turn in the coming hours, when Dotty gets drunk and steals someone's wallet.
As they give chase, Ian's son Peter steps in to save the day.
Dotty ends up sleeping it off on the sofa at the Beales' house, giving Ian the chance to plot away on how he can get her off his back.
