EastEnders horror as Hunter Owen leaves Denise Fox for dead in brutal attack

EastEnders aired shocking scenes on Tuesday, as Hunter Owen's plan to take revenge on Jack Branning left another character in grave danger.

Jack's partner Denise Fox was attacked and left unconscious by killer teen Hunter in the latest episode of the BBC soap.

She was at home after Whitney and Callum's doomed wedding day, unaware Hunter was also there waiting for Jack with a gun.

As Denise made her way in she quickly became aware that something wasn't right, and began looking around the house.

Suddenly she heard someone approaching her, and as she turned around Hunter was in front of her.

The scene then changed, but it wasn't long before viewers learned Denise had been attacked.

Denise had a bloodied head, and was slumped on the floor clearly unconcious.

As she remained still, Hunter made his intentions clear before retrieving the invitation for the wedding reception, being held at The Queen Vic, from her bag.

He said: "That's the problem with Jack ain't it, your lovely little boyfriend, only thinks about himself."

Hunter then left Denise for dead on the floor, before making his escape.

Jack, meanwhile, was at the reception in the pub unaware of the danger he and his loved ones were in.

As the episode came to an end ahead of dramatic scenes to follow, Hunter was seen approaching the venue with the gun in his hand.

Viewers were left fearing for Denise, hoping someone would find it and that she'd be okay - but with someone set to die, could a shock exit be on the cards?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
