EastEnders aired shock scenes for Sharon Mitchell, as her 12-year-old son Dennis punched her in the face.
The mother and son came to blows on Thursday, after she discovered his involvement in a gang.
Tiffany Butcher had alerted Sharon he was meeting with a drug dealer, while Denny insisted they were his pals.
After Tiff’s recent ordeal at the hands of the gang, she was desperate to keep Dennis away from them, with Sharon even attacking one of the members of the gang to warn them off.

But things took a dramatic turn in the latest instalment, as Sharon was hurt by her own son.
After Sharon confronted Tiffany, accusing her of grooming Denny after introducing him to the gang, she stormed back round to the house to speak with her child.
She wasn’t getting anywhere though, as Dennis fumed at her for ruining his chances with the gang.
Sharon tried to make him see sense, warning him not to go back to the boys, including Stix, as they were dangerous.
Suddenly Dennis ran off, accusing her of not caring about him and claiming he hated her.
Sharon raced after him towards the stairs, telling him she wasn’t finished talking.
But a furious Dennis didn’t want to talk, and soon turned violent against his own mum when she grabbed him to stop him from fleeing to his room.
At the end of Thursday’s episode, the teenager punched his mum in the face leaving her stunned.
Viewers were horrified by the latest twist, fuming at Dennis for taking his anger out on his mother.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm.
