EastEnders heartbreak as Rainie learns she was never pregnant after accident

EastEnders aired heartbreaking scenes for Rainie Highway on Thursday evening, as she learned devastating news about her pregnancy.

Rainie confirmed to husband Stuart that she was pregnant recently, and the pair were looking forward to becoming parents.

But there were fears for their unborn child on Thursday, after she was hit by Keegan Baker's bike.

She had stepped out into the road while distracted by a hypnobirthing app on her phone when she collided with the bike.

Keegan' wife Tiffany raced the character to hospital, as he tracked down her husband and told him what happened.

As Rainie went in for her baby scan, she was left fearing that she may have lost her baby.

She saw the doctor looking concerned, as the scan was underway on the screen beside her.

Rainie and the doctor couldn't see the unborn baby, with Rainie asking her if she had miscarried.

Reeling, Rainie believed she was mistaken and demanded another doctor come in.

But she was then retold the heartbreaking news that she was never pregnant.
