EastEnders' Gray sells Spurs season ticket in massive coronavirus blunder

Gray Atkins shocked EastEnders viewers tonight by announcing he had sold his Tottenham season ticket.

The nasty lawyer, who has been suspended from work, has been struggling with financial issues and violently attacked wife Chantelle again.

In a bid to bring more money in, Chantelle announced to an angry Gray that she will be doing shifts at the call centre with the Panesars.

Later on, Gray announced that they could make some cuts to their spending to soften the blow.

He told Chantelle: "I've sold my Spurs season ticket. Take the pressure off a bit."

Chantelle flinched when her husband moved towards her then told him to "go and clear Whitney's name".

EastEnders viewers were confused as to how Gray had managed to sell his Spurs season ticket in the current climate.

All Premier League football matches have been suspended until at least April 3 - with many fearing the season will never be finished.

Bemused EastEnders viewers took to Twitter after Gray announced his season ticket sale.

"Gray would win the Apprentice for managing to sell a Spurs season ticket at a time when there's no Premier League," said one viewer..

Another added: "Pretty sure the dude Gray sold his Spurs season ticket to is gonna be after a refund pronto"

"Gray also sold his spurs season ticket. Good business sense when the season has been suspended due to coronavirus," said a third.

A fourth said: "Sold his Spurs season ticket but games have been cancelled now"

Later on, Gray grew increasingly frustrated as he struggled to find the evidence he needed to incriminate Leo King.

Gray frantically searched for answers and left Sonia Fowler concerned by his behaviour.

Just as he reached the end of his tether while searching Whitney's room, Gray was drawn to a hole in the ceiling.

Gray rushed into the attic and realised that Leo had been hiding up there while spying on Whitney.

Telling Sonia not to touch anything, confident Gray said: "We've got him."

Is this the evidence they need to bring Whitney home?
