EastEnders aired tough scenes yet again as Gray Atkins continued his controlling behaviour towards his wife Chantelle.
At the start of the episode, he acted as if nothing was wrong, and as if he was a loving husband to his wife.
She asked if she could use his car to which he obliged, while viewers could tell he wasn't happy.
But Gray hid his anger and his normal response, which would be verbal abuse or accusations, or just a rejection of her request.
He had Whitney staying at the house, due to her recent turmoil in her own home.

They had let her stay the night, and in the morning she thanked them before she went back home.
She was in the kitchen as Chantelle planted a kiss on her husband's cheek before asking about the car, and they went on to discuss Whitney.
To their guest, there was nothing to suspect and they were a loving family with no problems.

But of course viewers knew the truth, and were left watching with unease as Gray hid his temper and what he was really like from Whitney.
When she left, Gray turned on Chantelle and and asked why she needed the car, trying to get out of letting her use it.
He turned his anger towards her boss Kheerat Panesar, before having a go at her about a family meal happening later that day.

With Whitney being there earlier on, fans had hoped she might see what was going on - but Gray perfectly avoided letting his temper be exposed.
Later on in the episode, he questioned whether she had taken his car to different locations - believing she was meeting someone in secret.
As Chantelle denied this, he told her he didn't believe her and would "see her at home" - leaving many fans convinced he was going to hurt her again.

Gray has been violently abusing and controlling his wife on the soap since they arrived last year - while it was revealed it had been going on for much longer than that.
To everyone else, they're a happy couple and the perfect family - but will anyone discover the truth?
EastEnders airs Mondays at 8pm, and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
