EastEnders gives first look at Dani Dyer scenes in dramatic cameo with dad Danny

EastEnders has shared first-look pictures and spoilers of Dani Dyer's soap cameo - and it's dramatic.

The Love Island star will appear onscreen alongside her real-life father Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter on the BBC soap.

The daughter and father duo will be on the show together next week, after filming the scenes recently.

Dani plays a pregnant cab driver named Jeanette, who picks up Mick who amid his rush to get to the hospital for wife Linda's baby scan.

But it seems Jeanette is headed in the right direction too, as the heavily pregnant character goes into labour in front of a stunned Mick.

As they make their way there, he's forced to take the wheel when her waters break with him determined to get her to the hospital in time.

Pictures show the moment the pair meet, before things take quite the turn.

Mick is shown reassuring Jeanette in the hospital corridor as her contractions continue, while Danny and Dani did not have to social distance for the scenes it would appear.

Viewers can see Dani in action alongside her dad in scenes next week on the BBC soap, with the episode airing on Monday June 14.

Dani no doubt relived her own labour experience during the scenes, after welcoming her first child in January this year.

The star and boyfriend Sammy Kimmence welcomed a baby boy named Santiago, who is five months old this month.

Meanwhile Mick is facing baby drama of his own, following the bombshell his wife Linda was pregnant with another man's child.

After a brief romance with Max Branning late last year, Linda realised he was the father of her child and not husband Mick.

Will the pair make it through their latest drama, or could it tear them apart for good?

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
