BBC soap EastEnders is returning to half-hour episodes after disruption by the pandemic saw the show shortened.
The episodes have been cut to anywhere from 18 to 25 minutes long due to a production break due to the pandemic.
Since the beginning of the pandemic EastEnders has been filming with the characters socially distant and rarely in close contact with each other.

The show also used the actors' real-life partners for kissing scenes and have introduced other safety measures which you can read more about here.
Now the soap will resume its 30-minute long episodes from January 2022 with three of the weekly episodes going back to being half an hour long.
But not all episodes will be back to 30 minutes with the Tuesday episodes still remaining at around 20 minutes long as the soap continues to react and adjust to the pandemic.
There are also some scheduling changes to the show over the Christmas and New Year period with the soap airing at different times.
