EastEnders fans 'work out' how Janine will be found out as she frames Linda for crash

EastEnders fans have worked out how Janine Butcher will be caught for framing Linda Carter over the car crash.

Janine (Charlie Brooks) was in the driving seat when the car she and Linda (Kellie Bright) were travelling in crashed, but in a huge plot twist, Janine decided to frame her enemy for the crash, dragging her into the drivers' seat.

She decided to then stage it so that it looked like Linda was in control of the car when it crashed, going as far as to pour half a bottle of alcohol all around the car, before a passer by stopped and asked if she was ok.

Claiming she didn't have a phone, she asked the lady to help out before running away to find her "lost dog".

At the end of the episode, Janine was seen heading away with Scarlett, as her boyfriend Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) called her from the hospital, telling her that Linda was injured and was in a coma.

Whilst her secret remains so right now, fans of the BBC One soap are convinced they know how Janine will be caught over her lies.

" #EastEnders I think the hospital will notice the seatbelt bruises on the opposite side of her chest," one fan wrote.

A second added: "Watching #Eastenders , and Janine thinks she's being clever switching Linda to the drivers side. The impact would have left belt marks on both of them, so Linda will have the passenger side belt mark on her. Rookie error."

"Don’t bother trying the old switcharoo, Janine. It may fool the first responders, but forensics will have ‘ya guts for garters! #EastEnders," a third shared as others listed different ways she could be caught out.

"Predictable, predictable EastEnders! Your sweaty forehead has been all over that airbag, Janine! #Eastenders," another penned.

One viewer wrote: "Like they wouldn't be able to see the track marks where Janine dragged Linda to the driver seat! And the mud all over the backs of her shoes #Eastenders," as another added: "Um, isn't Janine kinda forgetting something?

"That woman could probably give a description could she not?"

Others were puzzled how multiple cars drove past without even stopping to see if everything was ok, with one fan sharing: "Who even passes a car crash without stopping to see if everyone is alright #eastenders."

"Car drove by and the driver doesn't question the wrecked car and Linda injured," a second added.

*EastEnders airs Mondays through Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One.
