EastEnders fans thrilled as Dot Cotton returns to Albert Square

EastEnders fans were thrilled tonight as Dot Cotton returned to Albert Square.

Dot walked through the door and was greeted by granddaughter Beth, who was thrilled to see her nan.

And it wasn't long before Dot was back to her usual ways, as she said: "I'm dying for a cup of tea and a fag."

She then caught up with the rest of the family , as they all chatted round the table.

And fans were quick to take to social media to rejoice at her return to the soap.

Susan Hill said: "OMG!! I completely forgot that the legend that is #Dot was back tonight!"

Max said: "omg i missed dot SO much #eastenders soon as she said shes dying for a tea and a fag i felt emotional i did."

Stewart said: "Yaaaaaaaaaay! Dot is back."

And Elliot said: "ALL IS WELL IN THE WORLD AGAIN. Dot Cotton has returned to #EastEnders "

Dot brought her granddaughter Dotty back with her to the square as well, but fans think she could be trouble, after she already clashed with Tiffany.
