EastEnders fans surprised as Natalie Cassidy's fiancé Marc Humphreys makes cameo

EastEnders fans were sent into meltdown on Monday night, as they were introduced to one of the cameramen.

They learned that the crew member was the real-life partner of a Walford legend, with many unaware the pair worked together.

Marc Humphreys helped film the show hosted by Stacey Dooley, and it was quickly revealed he is with none other than Natalie Cassidy.

Natalie has played Sonia Fowler, formerly Sonia Jackson, on the show since 1993 when she was 9 years old.

She's remained on the BBC soap ever since, despite the odd break here and there.

So when he made a cameo during the Secrets From The Square spin-off on Monday, fans were stunned by a revelation.

As he appeared on camera, actor Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale, identified who he was.

He joked to host Stacey: "We can't stand Marc!"

A stunned Stacey had no idea they were together, and asked: "Are you? You're Sonia's husband?"
