EastEnders fans were left flabbergasted this evening as Max Branning announced to the whole of the Queen Vic that Sharon had tried to kill husband Ian.
Tasked by Linda to find out where Tina was and what had happened to Ian, Max had been on the hunt to find out the truth.
And at the end of tonight's episode, Max outlined his findings to the rest of Walford.
As Kathy and Bobby hung up missing posters in the pub, the former let rip at Sharon for not caring about finding her husband.
"She wants him back," Max interjected as Sharon briefly thanked him - but Max wasn't finished.
"To finish him off."
As everyone stared in shock, Max continued: "That's right, isn't it Sharon? It weren't Tina that tried to kill Ian - it was you."
And fans were left completely floored by the revelation.
One tweeted: "Loved that ending #EastEnders gutted that max will be leaving soon, he's one of the best characters in the show Weary face."
