Eastenders fans have been left surprised as one of its characters age's was revealed.
During Monday night's episode, viewers of the BBC One soap discovered Kat Slater's actual age despite being on the show for two decades.
The scene saw the feisty mum telling her family that she didn't want a fuss to be made about her upcoming birthday.
"Lets get this clear. Tomorrow is going to be a normal day. No cards, no balloons, and no cake. And no one gets hurt."
So it wasn't Kat who revealed her impending number change, it was in fact Big Mo.
The head of the family said: "If I turned 50 and had muscles on the go I'd hire a billboard and tell the world."
And fans couldn't help but head to social media to discuss the latest bit of information.
"Kat Slater is.....50?! #Eastenders," tweeted one.
Another said: "How is Kat 50?! #Eastenders"
"'Kat, 50??' - 'Blimey!!' - 'Seems only yesterday the Slaters first arrived & started tearing (up) the Square?? - Where's that gone??," added a third.
A fourth commented: "OMG! Kat is 50 shut up. #EastEnders."
Kat Slater actress joined the soap in 2000.
She has had various breaks over the years but made a more permanent return the Square in 2018.
