EastEnders fans spotted a bizarre blunder as Jean Slater quickly went from dying to running.

At the end of Thursday night's emotional episode, Jean appeared to be on her deathbed while Sean frantically called an ambulance.

After Sean confessed that he had murdered his own dad, Jean started to lose consciousness and it seemed like she might die.

Viewers rejoiced tonight when the paramedics rushed in and saved Jean from losing too much blood.

Jean was warned to stay still as she was weak from the chemotherapy, but she defied the medical advice and ran across the courtyard.

EastEnders’ Sean in distressing gun suicide bid - and ending has fans in tears

Jean feared that Sean was going to take his own life and started hobbling over to the barn.

Worried Stacey called out for her mum as she ran over and spotted a very concerning sign on the door.

The pair feared they were too late, but found Sean still alive in the corner of the barn.

Confused EastEnders viewers took to Twitter after watching the bizarre moment.

One viewer said: "Jean looked like she was near death, now she's running across the farm!"

Another added: "Wow Jean's leg got better quickly she's not even faint anymore, amazing what a bandage can do!"

A third said: "Well Jean has made a speedy recovery running across the farmyard. Looked like the bone was sticking out her leg, but just needs a "few stitches". Where are the paramedics? Where have they gone?"

Viewers were in tears tonight as Sean contemplated suicide while holding a shotgun.

Jean tried to convince her son not to take his own life in some of the soap’s most powerful scenes ever,

Robert Kazinsky, Gillian Wright and Lacey Turner were all heavily praised for their incredible performances.
