EastEnders fans speechless after spotting two Corrie stars in Walford

EastEnders fans were left speechless this evening after spotting not one but two familiar faces in Albert Square.

Last night, viewers watched as Maria Connor and Tracy Barlow were involved in a furious row over the pollution in Weatherfield.

Florist Tracy mocked Maria as she raged that the street was being ruined and feared for son Liam's future as he suffered from asthma.

The whole encounter was caught on camera by a journalist, with the footage appearing to have made its way to Walford.

As Tiffany sat in Whitney's living room, she showed her the video on her phone as she said: "Have you see what this mum from Weatherfield is doing for her little boy with asthma?

Sharing the clip, Whitney glanced over at it dispassionately as she said: "Yeah, that's amazing."

"I tell you, environmental stuff is buzzing right now," Tiffany remarked. "You know Bailey? Her vegan chat has gone viral!"

Tiffany continued to watch the video and giggled: "This turns into such a barney!"

It comes after Hollyoaks' Cindy appeared in Emmerdale's Monday episode and E mmerdale's Dr Cavanagh in Coronation Street.

In the earlier Emmerdale episode, Liam and Amelia had joined forces to create a social media page for his allotment.

And it appeared that their video had gone viral, prompting Gary Windass to show girlfriend Maria the clip.

"I was online and there's a doctor in a village in Yorkshire and he's been growing veg for the community," he said as he showed the video of Liam and Amelia dancing. "He thinks it helps his mental health. I wouldn't mind trying some of those dance moves."

Maria raised her eyebrows as she said: "I'm not sure you could keep up, Gary."

Fans loved the crossover, with one tweeting: "Phahaha emmerdale."

While another commented: "ITS THE CROSSOVER ITS THE CROSSOVER!! #Corrie."
