EastEnders fans 'rumble' who Martin Fowler really killed - and it's not Keanu

EastEnders aired graphic scenes this Christmas, as Martin Fowler was ordered to murder Keanu Taylor by the Mitchells.

Those at the centre of the storyline are now featured in a cover-up of Keanu's apparent death, after he was shot dead by Martin.

But ahead of the BBC soap's special flashback episode, fans are convinced Keanu isn't actually dead.

Now, some fans are even speculating whether another character was murdered in the fallout, instead of Sharon Mitchell's fling and baby daddy.

While some question if anyone even died, viewers took to Twitter to predict Martin did shoot a character.

But they're convinced it wasn't Keanu, and instead Martin's current business partner Tubbs.

Ben Mitchell's former cell mate arrived in Walford a couple of months ago before helping Phil Mitchell's son with his dodgy dealings.

Ben has since taken a back seat - that was until Phil demanded his son help him get revenge on Keanu.

He then got Martin involved, asking him to kill Keanu in exchange for him making the recent hit-and-run Martin and Tubbs were involved in disappear.

Since Keanu's death, Tubbs himself has been missing - with Ben also promising "to get Tubbs off the scene".

While he may have been stating he can get Tubbs to stay silent, some viewers thought the "weird" phrase could be a hint that Tubbs has been killed to silence him.

After all, he could tie Martin to recent criminal activity including the car accident and Keanu's death.

This, his vanishing act and the theory that Keanu is actually still alive, has left viewers wondering if the body shown in the murder video was in fact Tubbs.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "I think Martin shot Tubbs and that’s why he was crying at the end."

Another tweeted: "I may be the only one to think this but... do you think it’s Tubbs that they got rid of?"

A third added: "Keanu alive but Tubbs is the one dead. Though, not sure whether it was Martin or Keanu who killed him, and whether or not Ben is in on the twist."

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
