EastEnders fans were delighted to see Jessie Wallace return to the show after a long break to reprise her iconic role as Kat Slater.
She was suspended from the soap for two months after reports claimed she arrived to the set drunk.
But she was back with a bang as the soap returned to the BBC following its lockdown break, and Kat immediately tore into Martin Fowler and Ruby Allen who were putting on a PDA.
Kat furiously defended her cousin Stacey Fowler, who was married to Martin until she was forced to flee because she attacked Phil Mitchell.
Seeing Ruby and Martin walking hand in hand, Kat shouted: "Oi! You'll put the punters off their paninis."
"It's called romance!" said Ruby.
"Rebound more like," replied Kat.
"If Stace was here, she wouldn't get a look in," ranted Kat, before telling Ruby: "We don't need shedloads of money to keep us together.
"Well some of that money pays your wages," retorted Ruby.
Kat added: "Haven't you wondered what attracted him to little miss minted."
One delighted viewer wrote: " @bbceastenders yesssss bringing back Kat , I can’t wait for the return of Kim and Stacey".

A fourth gushed: "The one liners from Kat during that argument, I love it! Classic Kat #EastEnders ".
Meanwhile, Danny Dyer returned as Mick Carter and stripped down to just a waistcoat and some strategically placed cushions to surprise wife Linda (Kellie Bright).
One fan tweeted: "ooo Hello! Danny Dyer!"
