EastEnders fans predict Janine will kill Gray in epic return after seven years

EastEnders fans have predicted that the one and only Janine Butcher will murder Gray Atkins.

It was recently revealed that Charlie Brookes - who plays the iconic villain - may be getting a dramatic return after leaving seven years ago.

Soap fans will remember when Janine murdered three of her four husbands, so fans have obviously put two and two together of what could happen.

There have been no reports from insiders or even the BBC about what we could possibly expect, but the Janine theory is enough to keep us on our toes.

Gray (played by Toby-Alexander Smith) already murdered Kush Kazemi, his wife Chantell Atkins and Tina Carter.

Considering he is a rich and single lawyer with a luxurious house, he might catch Janine’s eye.

“If Janine is the one who takes out Gray I'll forgive the whole cctv bs,” one fan speculated on Twitter.

“Janine coming back, destroying Ruby and Martin, bringing down Gray and marrying Kheerat is a whole mood,” another said.

One fan joked: “Janine to murder Gray please.”

An excited viewer added: "Janine Butcher’s gonna come back and finish Gray off ain’t she #EastEnders."

The shocking news of Janine returning to Albert Square was revealed earlier on April 21.

Murderous Janine, who is the daughter of Frank and stepdaughter of Pat, was last seen in St Pancras as she boarded a train to go to Paris, where she joined daughter Scarlett and Diane.

A source told The Sun : "Bosses have a huge story planned for Charlie’s return.

“They are keeping tight-lipped about whether Janine will come back as a reformed character after all the chaos she has caused in the past.

“But she certainly has a lot of history in Albert Square so whether she will be welcomed back with open arms or not remains to be seen."
