EastEnders fans have predicted Gray will start an affair, after he appeared to spark with another character during tonight's show.
This evening's programme saw Gray defend Whitney in the Queen Vic, as Leo's mum Micheala turned up at the pub to talk to her.
But Gray went straight to her and made her leave after a tense exchange.
Whitney looked over at him adoringly and viewers thought they sensed something happening between them.
Gray has been helping Whitney to build her self defense case, after she killed her stalker Leo.
The pair have grown close as they build the case and fans think they will soon embark upon an affair.
Laura Davidson said: "I swear Whitney and Gray are going to end up having an affair."
Lisa said: "Whitney & Gray are so going to have an affair down the line."
Tisha Mariey said: "Whitney and Gray are definitely gonna get it on I've been saying it from the start you can tell how both of them act towards each other."
Gray is continuing to abuse his wife Chantelle however, with other viewers thinking his affair will help uncover his abusive behaviour.
