EastEnders fans predict Gray will murder Tina after chilling Boxing Day showdown

EastEnders fans were left with a major cliffhanger at the end of the Boxing Day episode after a terrifying showdown between Tina Carter and Gray Atkins.

As Tina looked set to flee Albert Square after being in the frame for the attack on Ian Beale, she turned the tables on her solicitor Gray by working out that he had murdered his late wife Chantelle.

Gray killed Chantelle at the conclusion of the soap's domestic abuse storyline in September, highlighting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on domestic violence.

Fans are worried for Tina (BBC)

Viewers are now convinced Tina will become his next victim after she told him she knew the truth.

"I see you Gray and she saw you too didn't she? It wasn't an accident was it?" she asked.

Fans think Tina will meet a similar fate to Chantelle following her angry confrontation with Gray after he gave bogus advice that she looked set to be charged with attacking Ian.

During the Boxing Day episode she realised that not only had he lied about the case against her, he had also lied about his wife.

"You killed her. You murdered your wife," raged Tina, who had previously been in an abusive relationship with her ex Tosh Macintosh.

"He is so going to kill her," tweeted one fan of the BBC soap.

"Bye bye Tina," said another.

"RIP Tina Carter on 28/12/2020," wrote another.

"Gray kills Tina then hides the body and says she’s gone," another predicted.

"Noo Tina get out of that house now!!" shouted another.

Twisted Gray told Tina and her family that she was due to be arrested imminently and she had considered running away on his advice.

But, knowing she was suspicious of him, he had fed her a pack of lies in order to get rid of her.

EastEnders actress Luisa Bradshaw-White who plays Tina confirmed she was leaving,in a statement in October, saying she was bowing out of the role at the end of the year

"Honestly, I had goosebumps watching these scenes. "Brilliant and relatable," tweeted another fan.
