EastEnders fans predict danger for Stacey Fowler as Phil Mitchell makes discovery

EastEnders aired a big reveal on the BBC soap on Tuesday night.

Phil Mitchell finally learned who really attacked him and left him for dead back in July last year.

He was hit over the head with a wrench and left for dead, after he attacked Martin Fowler.

Phil believed it was Kat Moon who hit him after her confession, but it was actually her cousin Stacey, Martin's wife.

Stacey, played by actress Lacey Turner, has been on the run ever since after Phil's son Ben kept the evidence to blackmail the couple.

Ben had walked in on Stacey's attack and allowed them to flee, before using it against them.

In the latest episode, Stacey's mum Jean Slater confronted Phil and let slip the truth.

She confirmed Stacey was the attacker, which Phil had no idea about, and that she was on the run as a result.

Phil seemed confused, and may even have thought she was mistaken.

He walked off and left her to it, but fans were confused given this was the first time he knew the truth.

Now, many are speculating he might confront Ben about it, or that if Stacey returns she could be in trouble.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Love it when you work out the spoilers correctly for once!

"So does Phil end up calling Ben out on never telling him the complete truth or is it water under the bridge? Stacey could've come back cos Ben let her off when he went legit. She had just shacked up with a random!"

Another said: "Does Phil know that Stacey is on the run because of Ben threatening her??"

A third added: "Jean revealing the truth about Phil's attack. He'll know Ben and Kat were lying!"

EastEnders airs Mondays at 8pm, and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
