EastEnders fans in tears as Ben is 'beaten to death' by Stuart over Callum sex revelation

EastEnders fans were left "sobbing" after a devastating twist at the end of tonight's episode which saw Stuart brutally beat up Ben.

Tonight's episode saw Walford celebrate Pride as Albert Square's first gay club, the delightfully named Prince Albert, opened for business.

However there was a desperately sad edge to the episode alongside the accepting Taylors, who fully embraced Bernie's sexuality (and the strawberry daiquiris).

On the other side was Stuart, who spotted Ben tenderly kissing Callum's cheek at the end of last night's episode.

This evening, Stuart confronted his frightened brother, who eventually admitted to having sex with Ben but insisted that he still loved Whitney.

As a drag queen belted out Heather Small's Proud in the club, strewn in rainbow ribbons, Stuart lured Ben to the Arches by using Callum's phone.

"Daddy must be so proud," Ben said after seeing Stuart walk towards him.

"You will stay away from my brother," Stuart demanded.

"And that's it? I just... walk out?" Ben stood up and faced him. "Run away? Cos I ain't scared, I ain't ashamed and I ain't going nowhere."

While everyone in the club and the street danced in celebration, Stuart kicked and punched Ben unconscious.

Elsewhere, Callum held onto Whitney as he tried not to cry.
