EastEnders fans in disbelief as Stacey reveals it's been 11 years since a tragic death

EastEnders viewers were left stunned as they were reminded of one of the BBC soap's most shocking and saddest ever deaths in the latest episode.

Thursday's dramatic episode saw Stacey Slater talking about her late ex Bradley Branning, with his father Max Branning.

It's then that she dropped the news that it had been 11 years since her husband died.

That means it's been 11 whole years since Bradley fell off the roof of The Queen Vic during the live episode - which aired on February 19 2010.

The events unfolding were part of the same day as a previous episode, so in Walford it was February 18.

Something else that happened in this chaotic live episode, was the moment Stacey confessed to being Archie Mitchell's killer.

Viewers couldn't believe that it had really been that long since the dramatic scenes, and shocking reveal, took place in Walford.

More so, they couldn't believe it was 11 years since fan favourite Bradley lost his life.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Bradley's been dead for 11 years?!"

Another said: "Wow... it's been 11 years since Bradley died on #EastEnders???!? Wow. I loved #EastEndersLIVE."

A third agreed: "11 years since Bradley passed and also the same night that Stacey confessed to killing Archie Mitchell."

Meanwhile a fourth said: "I can't believe it's been 11 years since Bradley passed. :("

This was echoed by a fifth viewer who tweeted: "11 years since Bradley died, time doesn’t exist anymore."

Another added: "How has it’s been 11 years since Bradley fell of the roof of the queen vic."

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
