EastEnders fans horrified as Leo tries to stab Whitney in her sleep in creepy scene

EastEnders viewers were left horrified during the latest episode of the BBC soap, as things took a frightening turn.

Stalker Leo King continued to hide in the house of his victim Whitney Dean, continuing his plan of revenge.

He has been harassing her ever since she found out he was the son of her former stepfather and abuser Tony King.

Leo is still convinced she lied about his dad being a paedophile, and wants revenge on her.

He's been hiding in her attic for days, but on Monday night he decided to act.

As Whitney slept amid her turmoil, Leo climbed out of the loft and crept into her room.

Wielding a knife, he prepared to take final deadly revenge - appearing intent on stabbing her in her sleep.

As Whitney remained in the bed, he slowly walked towards her holding the knife.

Suddenly he was disturbed, as Sonia Fowler returned home and called out.

Leo quickly retreated back to the attic, with neither Sonia or Whitney realising he was there.

He continued to hide ahead of their deadly showdown later on in the week leaving fans unnerved.

Fearing for Whitney, they begged someone to realise he was there before it was too late, as others shared their horror over the scenes.

One fan said: "Holy f**k Leo! Creepy! That's why I always try to sleep facing the door!"

Another tweeted: "That knife scene was as scary as s**t."

A third added: "Him creeping towards Whitney with a knife was heart stopping."

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
