EastEnders fans were horrified to learn that Kush Kazemi had taken Ruby Allen up on her offer during Friday's hour-long episode.
Ruby is desperate to have a baby with husband Martin Fowler, and so she offered to pay Kush off to take Martin's stepson, Arthur, so Martin would be more open to having children with Ruby.
And it was confirmed that Kush took her up on her offer, as he spoke to her from a hotel with Arthur.
But Stacey and Kat Slater were horrified to find Kush gone and instantly set about trying to track him down.
With Ruby in the room pretending to know nothing, Stacey, Kat and Martin desperately tried to figure out where Kush had gone, wondering if he'd run away to escape the police.
With Kush actor Davood Ghadami confirmed as leaving the soap in 2021, could this be the start of his horror exit storyline?
One viewer tweeted: "This is very out of character for Kush. Good thing he won’t be able to leave the country now everywhere banned us. #EastEnders ".
Another remarked: "If Kush runs with Arthur, that's basically it for him. Stacey will NEVER forgive him, neither will Martin or Kat #Eastenders ".
"Kush has gone ahead with Ruby's plan. Is he stupid? #EastEnders," wondered a third.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
