EastEnders fans sickened as Ian Beale shovels poisoned spaghetti into his mouth

EastEnders fans were left horrified and sickened as Ian Beale knowingly shovelled Sharon's poisonous meal into his mouth this evening.

Ian finally discovered that Sharon had known that he was to blame for Denny's death and confronted her about poisoning his food.

As they sat down for the dinner that Sharon had cooked up, Ian was devastated as he realised that she actually despised him.

Ian went onto gobble down the pasta, prompting a shocked Sharon to shout: "What are you doing?! Ian? Ian? You're not going to make me feel guilty... you're going to spit it out, you're pathetic."

As he continued to eat the food, Sharon snarled: "You can die alone!"

But Sharon's conscience nipped at her and she returned to force Ian to be sick.

"Sharon, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry! I didn't save your beautiful boy - I deserve to die," Ian whined.

"No you don't," Sharon insisted. "I need to leave."

Ian bizarrely asked why, to which Sharon responded: "I just tried to kill you!"

"Sharon, I love you!" Ian cried.

Sharon firmly told him: "Goodbye, Ian."

But fans were left feeling incredibly queasy over the scenes, with one tweeting: "Ian was eating the poison spaghetti off the floor like a dog."

While another commented: "Think I've been put of Pasta Carbonara for life now #EastEnders."

A third joked: "I’m concerned for Ian’s expensive pecorino pasta."
