EastEnders fans heartbroken as mentally ill Isaac is tasered in 'disgusting' scenes

EastEnders viewers were left shocked after tuning in on Tuesday evening after witnessing Isaac Baptiste being tasered.

Poor Isaac (Stevie Basaula) suffered an upsetting breakdown after his schizophrenia took a turn for the worse on Monday.

He ended up locking himself in the house as his dad Patrick tried to reassure him that everything was going to be okay.

Ruby Allen and Martin Fowler called the police, and just as they arrived, Patrick managed to convince Isaac to come outside and face the music.

However, the voices in Isaac's head were too powerful and he was clearly scared as he started to walk outside and quickly ran back in again.

As the police tried to force their way in, Isaac accidentally smashed a wine bottle and ended up holding it in defence as he refused to open the door to the cops.

His girlfriend Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) then tried talking to him as she told him: “There’s nothing to be scared of, please come out," and this seemed to do the trick.

But once everyone realised that Isaac was holding the broken bottle, they pleaded with him to put it down - but it was too late.

In shocking scenes, a male police officer used a taser gun on Isaac and as he fell to the floor, his mum Sheree and Lola were in bits.

Viewers tuning in at home were left heartbroken by the sad scenes, and took to Twitter to comment.
