EastEnders aired scenes that divided fans on the BBC soap on Monday night, as Ben Mitchell was arrested.
The character, played by actor Max Bowden, was caught by the cops after stealing a car from a punter, Hugo, at The Prince Albert bar.
Ben was in turmoil yet again amid his recent hearing loss, following an injury during the boat crash.
He's been told he may never hear again, ahead of an operation which has been pushed back.
After trying to get into business with gangster Danny Hardcastle yet again, he faced danger when Danny found out he was deaf and accused him of messing him around.

Not only that, but Danny learned Ben's boyfriend Callum Highway was training to be in the police force and questioned if he was being stitched up.
As Danny walked out, refusing to do business despite Ben's reluctance to accept his deafness had impacted his life, Callum issued some home truths.
The pair ended up rowing as Callum tried to make him see that his deafness had changed things, and his actions were leading him on to a dangerous path.

Ben stormed out, blaming Callum for the dodgy deal collapsing, leaving his partner in tears.
It's then that the character drowned his sorrows in the bar, where he met punter Hugo - with the newcomer being pretty sleazy with Ben.
Hugo tried to seduce Ben, mocking the fact his wife was at home thinking he was working unaware that he was at a gay bar looking for someone to hook up with.

Ben saw right through him, especially after he grabbed his knee and began stroking his leg.
Wanting back at him, he told Hugo to settle the bill and that they could go out for some fun - only to steal his car keys and head off joyriding.
But it's then that the police were clearly alerted to the crime and stopped him in his tracks.

As Ben was arrested, viewers took to Twitter over the scenes not impressed.
One fan said: "Why did Ben let that man touch him.. disgusting."
Another tweeted: "OMG! Hugo touching Ben's leg like that,"
A third added: "This Hugo's a bit of a creep isn't he?"
EastEnders airs Mondays at 8pm, and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
