EastEnders fans were left fearing for Vinny Panesar's life after tuning into Friday night's episode of the BBC soap.
Vinny (Shiv Jalota) was feeling immense guilt following the death of his brother Jags (Amar Adatia) in prison, and was devastated when his mum Suki told him it was his fault.
Attempting to blot out his pain and guilt, Vinny started drinking cans of beer and was seen taking suspicious looking pills as well.
He later headed to Ruby's for more booze and was clearly paranoid when he accused some other customers of laughing at him.
Smashing a bottle, Vinny threatened one of the men who made a sarcastic comment - but luckily his sister Ash arrived just in time to diffuse the situation.

Ash somehow managed to get a drunk Vinny home, but he later collapsed on the floor - leaving her and their brother Kheerat (Jaz Deol)to call an ambulance.
Suki was stunned when she arrived home moments later and found her child unconscious on the floor.
She was clearly worried that she was about to lose another son and fell to her knees as she cradled Vinny in her arms.

EastEnders fans immediately began to panic as the episode ended, and took to Twitter to comment.
"S**t, is Vinny dead???? #EastEnders," one viewer asked.
Another tweeted: "Poor Vinny, he really has well & truly hit rock bottom in the wake of losing Jags sadly ain't he? #Eastenders."
A third simply posted: "Vinny NOOO!! #EastEnders," while a fourth said: "Omg Vinny I wasn't expecting that outburst. He's really hit rock bottom. I feel for him so much it's not his fault #EastEnders."
And a fifth tweeted: "Omg, Suki at the end of tonight's #Eastenders Face with open mouth she admitted she was in the wrong and appears to care so much about Vinny. When she said "this is all my fault" I thought "yes, it is". Sorry Suki! I hope he isn't dead."
EastEnders fans are well aware that Jags was sent down after being set up by his own mother, Suki, for robbery and assault last year.

For a while, he had been protected inside thanks to Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), but Ben lost his cool when he realised that Kheerat was seeing Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
This led to Ben calling the protection off earlier in the week, which had deadly consequences for poor Jags.
As well as Vinny, Ben is also now feeling really guilty over what has happened and was seen confiding in his husband Callum.
However, a drunk Vinny informed Callum that it was him that should have gone to prison - not Jags.
Callum quickly rushed home to tell Ben in order to try and ease his guilt, but will it make a difference? And what will happen with Vinny is taken to hospital?
