EastEnders fans were sickened by Ian Beale after he took revenge on Sharon Mitchell after she refused to sleep with him.
Ian, played by Adam Woodyatt, confessed his feelings to a shocked Sharon last week - but she rejected him.
And tonight, Ian let rip at Sharon after Max discovered that he had stolen his money to buy the Queen Vic.
Ian raged: "You have no idea what I have risked buying you this place."
A regretful Sharon replied: "Ian, I'm sorry I don't feel the same way about you."
Ian exclaimed: "Don't flatter yourself!"
"You're hurting - I get it," Sharon said.
Ian snarled: "I took pity on you, I was trying to do something nice. But no, it wasn't enough, it's never good enough!"
Sharon tried to placate him by saying: "You're my oldest friend - look, Peter can work tonight, why don't you go and chill?"
"No. No more taking advantage," Ian insisted.
"How dare you," Sharon raged.
Ian ranted: "This is my business - every penny."
Fuming, Sharon responded: "Oh, so it wasn't for me."
"You are my employee, I'm going to set you some targets," Ian said.
Stunned, Sharon raged: "Because I won't sleep with you?!"
"And if you can't, I'll get a manager who can," Ian replied nastily. "There's plenty of landlords out there looking for work - and a home."
