EastEnders viewers were left disgusted tonight after Ben Mitchelll claimed he was proud he killed poor Heather.
Ben, played by Max Bowden, lashed out at Jay after he stopped him from killing his own dad.
Sitting in the waiting room as they waited to find out Phil's condition, Jay tried to get Ben to see sense.
He snarled: "The only reason I was angry at Hev was because of dad, he's the reason she's dead."
But Jay hit back saying that the reason she was dead was because he hit her with a photo frame.
Ben retorted: "Killing her made me strong, made me who I am."
"And you're really proud of yourself," Jay said.
Ben replied: "Yeah, yeah I am."
"You disgust me," Jay spat out.
Later, however, the pair made up as Phil finally woke up - but Ben took advantage of his frail state by attempting to manipulate his memories.
Tonight on EastEnders, Phil opened his eyes in a daze and asked who had attacked him.
Leaning down, Ben whispered menacingly in his ear that Keanu was to blame for what happened.
Will Phil believe him? Or will he be able to recover his memories and reveal that Keanu is innocent?
Viewers were horrified last nigh after Ben Mitchell tried to murder his defenceless dad Phil in his hospital bed.
The Walford hardman, played by Steve McFadden, was left in a coma after getting his head bashed in by Stacey Slater.
Phil was having a tussle with Martin Fowler after he threatened Kat when Stacey jumped in and slammed a wrench into his skull.
Ben walked in on the chaos and ordered them out, brandishing a gun as he set on framing Keanu, who he had discovered had replaced him on Phil's will.
However, Ben was furious when almost everyone in Albert Square was convinced that he had tried to kill his dad anyway.
Filled with rage, he turned up at the hospital to see his dad on life support.
Ben glared menacingly as his dad before making his way to Phil's bedside.
"Everyone thinks I did this to you," he said. "So why don't I just finish the job?"
Taking a deep breath, Ben reached out to one of the tubes from his life support and began to squeeze.
"Chip off the old block after all," Ben said shakily before leaning in and snarling. "Are you proud of me now, dad?"
Has Ben really just killed Phil?!
