EastEnders viewers were devastated by the ending to the BBC soap on Monday night, with a twist for Keegan Baker.
Just as he and wife Tiffany Butcher were getting back on track, disaster struck again for the much loved couple.
Keegan has been struggling to get a loan to help with his start-up business, while he's also recently faced brushes with the law.
The pressure from both led to him and Tiff falling out, after she struggled to understand the discrimination and racism he's been met with at the hands of the police officers and others.
Just recently he was wrongly arrested for robbing his own house and mugging wife Tiffany, after officers at the scene believed he was the criminal - not the actual thief who was running away from the scene.
Similar scenes happened again on Monday night, as poor Keegan was arrested while trying to get his wife out of harm's way.
Earlier on in the episode they were enjoying some alone time, after finally being offered the money needed to help with his business.
Fearing he had been too hard on Tiff, he decided to treat her with a surprise.
But their happiness didn't last long, when the pair found themselves caught up in the chaos unfolding outside Vinny Panesar's house party.
With things taking a violent turn inside, it wasn't long before the police were called and Vinny decided to get everyone out.
The party goers ended up getting rowdy with the police as they tried to handle the situation.
Keegan and Tiffany stumbled across the ongoing incident, just as things took a horrifying turn.
One of the party goers lobbed a brick at a police car and smashed the windscreen.
As Keegan tried to run away to get Tiffany to safety, the police set chase claiming he was the culprit.
He and Tiff began telling the officers they'd got the wrong man, but they didn't listen and instead pinned him to the ground and arrested him.
Viewers were devastated for the character, and furious with the police for wrongly assuming Keegan was the brick thrower.
One fan said: "Now that's what I call an ending thats left me fuming! This treatment of Keegan is DISGUSTING."
Another agreed: "Tiff suddenly gets it now. That eye contact with her and Keegan," while a third added: "WTF.... they arresting Keegan! He hasn’t done anything. This is getting ridiculous."
EastEnders airs Mondays at 8pm, and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
