EastEnders fans were 'devastated' after a last minute schedule change by the BBC meant they missed the latest episode.
On any given Thursday, the latest instalment from Albert Square can be found on BBC One at 7.30pm.
The success of the England Women's football team changed that this week as their World Cup quarter-final clash against Norway meant that the BBC brought the soap forward in the schedules.
However, many viewers missed the 7pm kick-off in Walford and were fuming when they tuned in at its usual time to find the football was being aired in its place.
EastEnders fans took to Twitter to share their despair that that had missed an episode of Walford news, with many feeling that they hadn't been properly informed that the episode had been brought forward.
One viewer tweeted along with a number of angry emojis: "Forgot EE was on at 7! #EastEnders".
Another soap fan bemoaned: "# Eastenders Thank you for informing us eastenders was on early today. I missed it # Gutted".
A third was not happy about football taking priority on BBC's schedule, tweeting: "No # EastEnders because of sport, why can't they put sport on specialised channels?"
There will be further changes to the schedule as well, with the England Women due to play their World Cup semi-final on Tuesday at 8pm.
EastEnders has been bumped off the schedule completely on Tuesday, with the next episode due to air on BBC One on Monday, July 1.
